Watching e tv this weekend, you somehow figure out that a questions posed to Mac Maharaj by Justice(etv presenter) seemed to be evaded and the only defense given was the fact that journalists aren't allowed to expose corrupt politicians.
I thought it was illegal to take bribes, and that anyone in office should be held accountable for such an offense, instead in SA we have a reverse effect were politicians are not accountable but instead the press is to be charged for exposing the truth.
A saying "where there is smoke there is fire"comes to mind.
If you have nothing to hide why take the stance of suppressing the truth and laying charges against people who wouldn't go to print without sufficient evidence or supporting documents.
For to long, we the public have allowed the government to rape and defraud our country.
It's time we stood up against this blatant corruption and theft of our money.
The government was elected by the people for the people, the only problem is we don't seem to be able to get rid of them.
They are the laughing stock of the country and comments made by people, who are supposed to be head figures, leave us believing that they to aren't as clever as they think, further making the "protection of information bill" a necessity,to help hide the corruption because they actually aren't clever enough to do it without been caught.
Have we become a nation of cowards who allow them to do as they like and allow then to steal millions when the money been stolen could be used to fund a better police force to prevent crime.
By the time they get removed we might not have much left to rebuild a country which is been raped by corruption and fraud. Leaving us loans to repair the damage.
I truly hope that all south Africans will use the chance to support "Black Tuesday"and show the government that we will take action in what ever form to right the wrongs that are being and have been committed by our honorable (or not so honorable ) government.
It takes guts to stand up!!!!!!
Do something to show your support.
